01The Story

From Thessaloniki.

Olympian Greek Souvlaki is a small, owner-run Greek souvlaki grill in Pattaya on South Pattaya Road — 3rd Road, in front of Tony’s Fitness. Hours & map

Yannis Pagiannidis grew up with this food in Thessaloniki, in the north of Greece. He cooks it here the same way he learned it there — skewers grilled to order, pita served warm, tzatziki made thick and garlicky. No fusion. No shortcuts.

It is simple food, done properly. That is the whole idea, and it is why people keep coming back for more.

02The Craft

The real thing.

Souvlaki is simple food — which means there is nowhere to hide. It comes down to three things, and every one of them has to be right. Then see the menu.

The word souvlaki means “little skewer” — meat threaded onto a stick and grilled over the flame. In Greece it is everyday food: quick, honest, eaten on the move. There is no secret to it — only the discipline of doing each part properly, every single time.

  • Σουβλάκι

    The skewer

Pork or chicken, cut and skewered, then grilled to order over the flame until the edges catch and crisp. It hits the grill when you order it — never before.

  • Πίτα

    The pita

Soft Greek pita, warmed on the grill so it folds around the filling without cracking. The wrap is part of the dish — not just something to hold it.

  • Τζατζίκι

    The tzatziki

Thick Greek yogurt with cucumber, garlic and olive oil — cool and sharp against the hot grilled meat. It is the note that ties the whole wrap together.

05The Owner

Run by Yannis.

Olympian is Yannis Pagiannidis's place. He is from Thessaloniki, and he runs the grill himself — most days, he is the one cooking your order. Read the story and what to order.

There is no head office and no franchise behind it. Stop by and say hello. It is that kind of place.

Good to know.

Short answers to what people ask most — hours, where to find us, and how to get a souvlaki to your door.

  • What exactly is souvlaki?

  • Who runs Olympian Greek Souvlaki?

Yannis Pagiannidis, from Thessaloniki in northern Greece. It is his own place — no franchise, no head office — and most days he is the one at the grill.
