Olympian Greek Souvlaki · South Pattaya
Greek food delivery in Pattaya
Grilled to order · Tue–Sat 15:00–23:00
Olympian is a grill counter on South Pattaya Road, and it delivers through Grab Food. This page is the practical version of that: when you can order, what happens to each dish on the way to you, and the small changes to your order that make the difference between good souvlaki and a soft parcel of bread.
Grab Food is the delivery channel
Delivery runs through Grab Food. That is the link, and it opens the shop’s page in the app where you pick items, pay and track the rider. There is no separate ordering system on this website and no online basket here — a one-man grill does not need two order queues, and a second one would only get missed during service.
Everything on the board is grilled when the order lands. The kitchen does not batch-cook for the app and hold food warm waiting for a rider, which is the honest reason a Grab order from here behaves a little differently from a chain order. See the menu for what is on the board.
The other two ways to order are the counter itself and the phone: +66 86 061 8843. Both are covered further down.
Delivery hours are kitchen hours
The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, 15:00–23:00. Delivery follows exactly the same window, because the same grill and the same person cook for the app and for the counter.
Three consequences worth writing down before you get hungry:
Full address, coordinates and the map are on the location page.
What travels well, and what does not
This is the part most restaurant delivery pages will not tell you, so here it is straight.
A pita wrap is a short-distance food
A Greek souvlaki pita is a soft, unpocketed flatbread, oiled and warmed on the grill so it turns pliable. That warmth is the whole trick — it is what lets the bread fold around the filling without cracking. Seal that warm bread in a bag with hot grilled meat and cold tzatziki, and the steam has nowhere to go. Within fifteen or twenty minutes the outside of the pita goes damp and slack, and the texture contrast between crisp-edged meat and soft bread flattens out. It is still perfectly good food. It is simply no longer the thing you would get at the counter. The page on Greek pita explains why this bread behaves that way.
Plates travel better than wraps
The Pork Souvlaki Plate and Chicken Souvlaki Plate are the sensible order if you are further out. The meat is not sealed against bread, so it holds its texture, and you eat it as it was cooked. If you want the wrap experience anyway, order a plate plus tzatziki, warm your own bread at home and assemble it yourself thirty seconds before eating. That is closer to the counter version than a wrap that has spent twenty minutes in a bag.
Ask for the tzatziki separately
Tzatziki is yogurt, and yogurt is water. Inside a closed wrap it goes on working on the bread the whole way to your door. Ordering it on the side does three useful things: the bread stays drier, the sauce stays cold and thick, and you get to put on as much as you actually want. If the app lets you add a note, ask for the sauce separate. If it does not, order tzatziki as its own item.
Extras that help
If you are ordering for two or more, spread the risk: one wrap to eat immediately and plates for everyone else. And open the bag as soon as it arrives rather than leaving it closed on the counter — five minutes of trapped steam does more damage than five minutes of riding.
Grilled to order means a short wait
Nothing here is pre-cooked. When an order comes in, the meat goes on the grill, and the grill only holds so much at once. On a busy evening the app’s estimate can stretch, because the shop is cooking a queue rather than scooping from a tray.
That is a deliberate trade. A vertical spit or a bain-marie would let the kitchen serve instantly, at the cost of serving food that has been sitting. Olympian chose the other side of that trade, and the owner page explains why. So if the estimate is longer than you expected at 19:30 on a Friday, that is the system working as designed rather than something going wrong.
The one thing we cannot tell you honestly on this page is how many minutes any of it takes. It depends on the size of your order and how many people are standing at the counter, and any number printed here would be a guess. The app’s own estimate is the number to trust.
Fees and prices are set in the app
Delivery fees, service charges, surge pricing and promotions are all Grab’s side of the arrangement. The shop does not set them, cannot change them, and has no way of quoting them to you in advance. Whatever the app shows you at checkout is the real number.
Food prices are on the board at the counter and in the listing. They are not published on this website, deliberately — a printed price on a web page goes out of date quietly, and a wrong price is worse than no price. What we will say plainly is the positioning: this is honest street-food pricing with no restaurant markup, which is exactly what it costs to run a grill counter rather than a dining room. If you want the numbers before you commit, open Grab Food and look, or call +66 86 061 8843 and ask.
Phone ahead and collect
If you are anywhere near 3rd Road, calling ahead is the best of both worlds. Ring +66 86 061 8843, say what you want and roughly when you will arrive, and the cooking can be timed to your walk rather than to a queue. You skip the delivery fee, the wrap never sits in a bag, and the bread is still warm when you unwrap it.
Directions, the pin and the landmark are on the location page. The shop is street-front on South Pattaya Road in front of Tony’s Fitness, so collection is genuinely a walk-up rather than a hunt through a building.
The case for standing at the counter
Delivery exists because sometimes you are not going anywhere. But it is worth saying what you give up.
At the counter you watch the skewers go on and come off. You see the pita hit the grill and puff. You get the wrap in your hand at the exact moment it is meant to be eaten, which for this particular food is not a small detail. And most days Yannis is the one at the grill, so if you want to know what the sausage is, what the vegetarian option is today, or which one to order first, you can just ask the person cooking it. That conversation is not available through an app.
Olympian holds a 5.0 rating on TripAdvisor from a small number of early reviews. What those reviewers write about is the tzatziki, the Thessaloniki authenticity, and Yannis at the grill — three things you experience most fully standing in front of it. One of them calls it “the best souvlaki shop in Pattaya city.”
If you are ordering out to Jomtien, read the Jomtien page first. If you are feeding a group, start with group orders. Anything else is probably in the FAQ.
Frequently asked questions
Does Olympian deliver in Pattaya?
Yes, through Grab Food. That is the only delivery channel, and it runs during shop hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 15:00–23:00.
Can I get delivery on Sunday or Monday?
No. The shop is closed Sunday and Monday, so there is nobody at the grill and the listing will not take an order.
Can I order lunch delivery?
No. Service starts at 15:00 every day the shop is open. There is no lunch trade.
What is the best thing to order for delivery?
A souvlaki plate with tzatziki on the side. The meat holds its texture, the sauce stays cold and thick, and you can wrap it yourself at home if you want the pita experience.
Why should I ask for the tzatziki separately?
Because yogurt is mostly water, and sealed inside a warm wrap it softens the bread the whole way to your door. On the side, the bread stays drier and the sauce stays cold.
How much is delivery?
The delivery fee is set by Grab, not by the shop, and it changes with distance, time of day and promotions. The app shows you the exact figure at checkout.
How long does an order take?
Everything is grilled from raw once the order arrives, so it depends on the size of the order and how busy the counter is. The app’s live estimate is the honest answer — we will not print a number here that we cannot stand behind.
Can I call and collect instead?
Yes, and if you are nearby it is the better option. Call +66 86 061 8843, say when you will arrive, and pick it up at the counter with the bread still warm.
